The Mountainman Wintertrail in Mittersill – KitzSki is a truly incomparable experience you should not miss. Four trails, one contest: This exciting event makes a stop in the Resterhöhe ski area on 27 January, 2024. The Mountainman Wintertrail combines tricky trail running with exhilarating winter hiking, offering a unique challenge in the breathtaking Kitzbühel Alps.

The start and finish point of the Mountainman Wintertrail is on the Pass Thurn in the Resterhöhe ski area. From there, snow-covered, challenging trails are waiting to be conquered: going up and down ski slopes to altitudes of up to 2,000 m, through forests, and across alps where some refreshments await.

The majestic peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps, covered in glistening snow, form the breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable adventure. The special thing about the WinterTrail in Mittersill, beyond the athletic challenge, is the unique atmosphere. The participants share the joy of running in pristine nature and the enthusiasm for winter sports. The mutual support among the runners is palpable and the energy in the air is infectious.

To ensure you keep warm while running through the snow-covered forests and across the ski slopes, it’s important to dress properly. Think of a thermal blanket, warm clothing and suitable footwear. The team ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the registration to the provisioning of the participants. The refreshment stations along the route offer warm drinks and snacks to strengthen the runners and replenish their energy reserves.
